Ko Chang Seok confirmed to star in his first ever Disney+ original K-drama
Actress Hong Ji Hee will be joining the cast lineup of the soon-to-air KBS K-drama Grabbed by the Collar.
On February 15, it was officially confirmed that Hong Ji Hee would be joining the KBS K-drama.
Hong Ji Hee shared her thoughts on being part of the upcoming K-drama. She stated, "I am glad to meet the viewers again through Grabbed by the Collar. I'm looking forward to showing a new side of me through this upcoming K-drama. Please show a lot of interest and support."
This will be Hong Ji Hee's first project for the year.
Last year, Hong Ji Hee starred in the K-drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch led by Cho Byeong Kyu, Yoo Joon Sang, Kim Se Jeong, Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, and Yoo In Soo.
She is known for being part of the K-dramas Big Mouth, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy, and more.
Grabbed by the Collar will be led by Kim Ha Neul, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Seung Jo, Yoon Je Moon, Jung Woong In, Han Chae Ah, and Jung In Ki.
The K-drama will tell the story of Seo Jung Won, an investigative reporter and the MC of the current affairs program “Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar.” One day, she got accused of murder and she will work with detective Kim Tae Hyun to find out the truth. The story will be based on the Naver web novel by Nyureoki.
In the series, Hong Ji Hee will portray the role of Mo Su Rin. She is the president of Su Cafe and has a dark impression and timid personality. She relies a lot on her father's friend Yoo Yoon Young (Han Chae Ah's character).
Grabbed by the Collar is the collaboration work of director Lee Ho Jae (Recipe for Farewell) and writer Bae Soo Young. It will be produced by Monster Union Productions.
The upcoming K-drama will air its first episode on March 4 at 10:10 PM KST. It will have a total of 16 episodes.
