HELLO AND WELCOME

I've been a drama fan for several years. My main interest is costume c-dramas but I do enjoy k-dramas, j-dramas + other genres, and movies as well.
MY HAPPY PLACE:   Costume dramas, tragedies that make me ugly cry, open/sad/bad endings, palace intrigue/war/politics, mystery/investigation/crime, indie style vibe, mega simp for first love and childhood-friend-to-lover tropes, dating shows are my guilty pleasure.
WATCH STYLE:   Slow watcher. Rarely binge-watch. Mood watcher. Constantly switching between different shows on my CW list. Prefer long series but lately been watching more short series too. Okay with both on-air and older shows. Randomly tries the first episode of many shows to "test" the waters.
TO DROP OR NOT:   Magically transformed from a never-dropper to a serial-dropper. My drop list is now longer than everything except my completed list.
REVIEWS/FEEDS:   Still working on gaining courage to submit reviews. For now, I mainly post my brief updates and opinions to my Friends feed, and occasionally to the MDL Group feed.

RATINGS & DROPPING

Overthinking is a curse that I struggle with on the daily so I try not to analyze too much when giving ratings. Generally, I don't score lower than 6.0 — otherwise, I'll never make a decision with all those little half point increments. If I'm not enjoying a show, I'll usually drop it like a hot potato ASAP, and don't often rate those.
☆ 10.0 - Loved it. Worth a re-watch someday.
☆ 9.0 - 9.5 - Almost perfect. Very satisfied.
☆ 8.0 - 8.5 - Maybe a few flaws but still very good overall.
☆ 7.0 - 7.5 - Somewhat lacking but still enjoyed it a little.
☆ 6.0 - 6.5 - Largely dissatisfied in some way.
