I Will Forever Watch This Drama!!!
I am trying to get my thoughts together to express how much this drama took over my heart. I did not want it to end. I even went for a walk before I watched the last two episodes. And now that it is done, I am so sad because I will miss seeing Lin Yi Yang and Yin Guo. I also loved Meng Xiao Dong, the FL's big brother (cousin actually). Then there are the other characters with their own unique personalities and all adorable in their own way. This cast was amazingly put together. Before I write a review, I will list all the things I loved about this drama because my head will not get it together to write anything coherent. I blame Wu Lei in his role as Lin Yi Yang. The guy was so sexy and seductive, I literally swooned through each episode. Well let me start the list:1. Lin Yi Yang played by Leo Wu(Wu Lei) His eyes are expressive and seductive and will melt you when you see him gaze at Yin Guo. But not only his looks will make you swoon. He is the best in his field of sport and will knock your socks off the way he plays a perfect game of snooker. He is also intelligent and scholarly. And he is a businessman.
2. Yin Guo the FL is naive and innocent but she is a fearless 9 ball competitor/sportswoman. Zhoa Yin Mai plays her part with natural ease. She makes the romance believable in a way that reminds me of one of my favorite actresses, Zhang Jing Yi from Lighter and Princess. She is a natural actress who does not overact and when she hugs her man, she hugs him. You will feel her love for him. She delivers her lines perfectly and knows just how to use her voice and tone to make you feel the part.
3. Love at first sight is one I find relatable. The way the ML fell in love and pursued the FL might not be for everyone but for me, it totally captivated me to the point I watched over and over again while I waited for the next episodes.
I will need to gather my thoughts before writing more but do yourself a favor and DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Some of the low-rating reviews have been there from the start by people who have not even watched the drama.

Cute but extremely predictable
This is a plot that is all too familiar and predictable. Everything I expected to happen, happened. I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. Cute cast members and silly romance? Of course I'd enjoy it. But 12-episodes of this slow burn was a little exhausting to watch. They could've compacted this storyline into 8 episodes and still have time to spare. It was a little anti-climatic as well.GunTinn were nice to watch. The supporting characters were honestly not that impressive. Did not care for the side couple. Tinn and Gun's mothers were great though.
Between the two main leads, Fourth is definitely the better actor. Gemini's acting still comes off a little unnatural at times. This was a very typical GMMTV production and is honestly just above average in terms of BLs. Don't really get the hype. FourthGemini's acting and chemistry in Moonlight Chicken, and even their storyline (Liming & Heart) in that show surpasses this by a mile.
Music was great too!
If you're a new BL fan, just into fluff BLs, or are simply running out of good quality BLs, I would definitely recommend this.

Don't watch!! Waste of time:)))
Just so bad, please don't watch this!!!It starts off like a happy, cute fluffy kind of drama and by the end it turns into something completly diffrent. It does not make any sense!!! Why kill off the main character in the last episode, show everybody grieving and very sad just for them to come back in the last 3 minutes all happy like nothing happend? Why would anyone put their loved one though something like that? Just why??? Death is not somethig easy to move on from, maybe even traumatising and for the main character to come back and not give even a proper explanation its just so wrong. It seems like the writers ran out of ideas an they needet to fill the last 3 episodes with something.

This is Something Special
Being one of those people who watches multiple shows that happen to air on the same day, I've had to pick and choose which to watch live and which the binge later. This one was a binger, and I'm so glad it was!
Don't get me wrong, I like a BL that's set at a university/high school/whatever and has hesitations of starting/maintaining the relationship and all that stuff, but "Last Twilight" is a whole other caliber and I REALLY hope that more of these types of BLs get made because WOW!!!!!
First off, they aren't university students at all. Ok, one of them sort of is, but we never see him in class/studying on campus or whatever. They are adults, which adult problems that adults can identify with--and not just blindness.
Right off the bat I can see that the actors and production team did their research. I knew going into this series that Sea has good eyesight, but if I didn't, I would have Googled several times to make sure, because Day actually appears blind. Every movement, every facial expression, and the way he never looks anyone in the eye the way seeing people do was a masterful performance. All Day wants is to get his sight back, even after he appears to come to terms with it, and that desire screams from every minute of Sea's performance.
Jimmy is someone I loved from "Bad Buddy", so I was ubber happy that is was one of the leads here. It's made very clear from the first minutes of the first episode that Mhok is a working adult with a rough kind of life. He's another one of those actors(along with Sea) who can portray emotions so authentically, that I was a bawling mess every time he broke down, both when his sister died while he was in jail and during the breakup. Mhok was so also caring and sweet when it came to Day, even when literally dragging him out of his room.
Jimmy and Sea need to do more work together, and not just as a couple, because they are phenomenal scene partners.
I've said this in other review, so pardon to repeat, but one of the cliches I don't like in BL is the bitchy girls and the girls who try to break the relationship apart--sometimes those are two different roles played by two different girls. This series none of that. Film and Namtan as Gee as Pojai are warm and supportive and a positive light on the series. I adore how Gee is so positive and accepting of Day when she sees him again, and I love that Pojai and Mhok are just friends without any underlying agenda.
It was also nice to see that it wasn't a girl in the middle, but a boy. And that boy was August, Day's former badminton partner. Here again, the series dodged cliche, and instead of making August a total douche, they made him sympathetic enough that even when he kissed Day just to make him happy, you still felt bad for him. At least, I did. I wanted to hug August when he told Mhok that he tried but really can't see Day as anything but a friend. Credit goes in no small part to Ohm, who I haven't seen since "A Boss and A Babe", who took a character who could have been a throwaway cliche who we hated to someone that I actually felt bad for(see hug comment above).
Mark was another fantastic surprise for me. I liked him in "Bad Buddy", and I liked him in "Only Friends" but this time he played a character type that I've never seen him play before and it was phenomenal! Mark and Sea look like brothers so to see them in scenes together as Night and Day was deliciously authentic. Night's guilt over Day's condition and his attempts to make it up to his brother hurt so much to watch and I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when they finally started talking to each other. Mark knows how to play guilt without being overt about it and he knows how to portray relief the same way. I'd like to see him play more characters like this. Also, Night and Porjai ending up together is so cute could die.
Watch this series squeal and cry and fall in love just like I did.
Also, I just ordered the Box Set, which should tell you something about just how great this series is.

Amazing! Full of emotion and excitement
The dynamics between the couples is great! I love both couples, they both go through struggles and discover their feelings towards each other in a well progressed journey that is full of excitement and spice. The actors were cast really well and have great chemistry. This is a must watch for BL fans, it has everything you could want in a series, emotional scenes, tasteful love scenes, lots of skinship and some emotional scenes.I really liked the part where rain had difficulties in handing in his assignment and had to attempt it again which is a relatable problem which ended up in helping to build his relationship with payu.
Sky has some emotional scenes and there's some painful emotional parts that really pull you in and make you feel for him. I love how prapai develops and their relationship becomes wholesome and healthy.

Exciting series! Got me interested in Thai BLs again.
This is my first review on this website since 2021. After the release of shows like ATOATS, ITSAY, and KinnPorsche, the bar for Thai BLs was set so high that I no longer felt satisfied in watching most of them. However, Only Friends has become one of the few series to capture my attention and get me back on track to obsessing over BLs. In a time of countless fluffy lovely dovey BLs, this show sticks out for the hot mess that it is. It is drama-filled but remains very realistic. Despite that, its ending remains its biggest flaw as it felt like there was something missing. I'm just hoping it means there's a season 2.It showcases three different couples, each representing common issues and complexities that come in relationships, even more so in gay relationships. Mew & Top: Infidelity and the ability to trust again; Ray & Sand : Second best and a partner struggling with addiction; Boston & Nick: FWB and unrequited love between an easily attached pick me and a douchebag that's not interested in commitment.
MewTop are basically the main couple of this show. Mew starts off as a boring but very relatable character. The complete 180 in his personality was probably one of the best highlights of the show. My mind always goes back to that scene in episode 6 where Mew confronts Top, which just left me gagged. Although I was rooting for Mew to NOT get back with Top, the way their relationship carries on accurately represents the reality of how unfaithfulness is usually dealt with - a second chance and the hesitancy to trust again. To be honest, they got really boring towards the last few episodes.
RaySand were honestly the stars of the show. Sand was such a sweet character and so loveable. Ray was messed up but you couldn't help but root for him. Loved their story. Just wished they took out the part with Boeing because that was unnecessary. They had gone through more than enough.
Boston & Nick really added more spice to the show. Their plot becomes a bit uninteresting during the second half but I'm glad Nick realised in the end that he deserved better.
Acting:
This show sticks out not just for its plot, but for having some the best acting I have seen in BL history.
Book was excellent in this series. I get chills watching his acting in episode 6 & 7. Also, the chemistry between Book & Force has improved ten-fold from A Boss and a Babe. I think these roles suit them a lot more. Force's acting still feels a little stiff.
More importantly, First & Khaotung gave us a performance of a lifetime. I am not kidding when I say that Khaotung should win an Emmy for his performance in Episode 10. I have teared up every single time at the last scene. First did amazing too and the chemistry he has with Khaotung is one of the best I've seen in BL history.
Neo and Mark did a really good job as well, especially in the steamy scenes. It is very difficult for me to erase Neo's comedic image but I think this series really helped me in taking him more seriously. Mark did a great job in conveying how his character felt and he seems to fit BL roles a lot better than I thought.

A clever adaptation of “Chinatown” undercut by absurd storylines.
“The Bequeathed” is well worth watching. The acting is fantastic. Its characters are quickly and effectively drawn with compelling backstories. And its production values, with its artistic aspects (cinematography, music, set design, etc.), create the perfect environment for a tense crime drama. But the script is flawed. Its characters act irrationally, have bizarre motives and possess unrealistic abilities.
I’ll dissect its flaws in the below spoilers’ section. But please don’t read it before watching this drama. The show is relatively short, just 6 episodes. And the journey, with fascinating twists, is incredibly entertaining. But if you know the spoilers, it ruins the experience. (It’s like watching a taped-delayed football game after learning the score.)
Still, analyzing shows is also fun. So enjoy. Then come back to this review to see if my criticisms hold water.
Spoilers/Analysis:
This show is similar to Polanski’s “Chinatown” in style (film noir) and substance (incest, property rights). But, as mentioned, it suffers from unbelievable characters and illogical storylines.
Let’s focus on the main plot and its key characters.
1. Yoon Myung-gil; the property owner. Scheming locals killed Yoon Myung-gil to force the sale of his property, the family burial grounds.
2. Yoon Seo-ha; Myung-gil’s niece. She’s an associate professor whose career is floundering and her marriage is failing. Although she never met Myung-gil, she stands to inherit his property.
3. Kim Young-ho; an emotionally disturbed stranger. He claims to be related to Seo-ha and Myung-gil and seeks title to the property.
4. Yoon Myung-hee; Myung-gil’s sister and Young-ho’s mother. She’s the killer.
5. Choi Tae-song; the hotel owner/mobster. He needs cash to impress his future in-laws.
The problematic issues:
1. The main character, Yoon Seo-ha:
Seo-ha is an Art History assistant professor whose husband is unfaithful and is struggling to navigate the treacherous waters of workplace politics (backstabbing coworkers and an abusive, lecherous boss). A detective provides her with evidence that her husband is cheating on her. When her uncle, Myung-gil, dies intestate, she and her husband stand to inherit his property after the police determine Seo-ha is Myung-gil’s only living relative.
Complications regarding her inheritance arise when a mentally unstable stranger, Young-ho, accosts her at Myung-gil’s funeral, claiming to be the rightful heir. He stalks/terrorizes her.
Seo-ha confronts her husband with evidence of his infidelity and demands a divorce. He demands a share of her inheritance first. He’s killed shortly thereafter.
So, with her life in turmoil, what does Seo-ha do? She considers buying and operating a rundown hotel from a sleazy owner based on the advice of a shifty private eye.
In what universe does this occur? This is simply absurd.
But it gets worse.
2. The hotel owner, Choi Tae-song:
Tae-song needs cash fast. His great money-making scheme is to unload his fleabag hotel at an inflated price to a naïve Seo-ha who will be rich once she inherits Myung-gil’s property.
Really? That’s Tae-song’s solution to his money troubles?
First, why would he think Seo-ha would want the hotel, and would be able to quickly secure the funding? His genius plan to facilitating Seo-ha’s inheritance is – wait for it –to force Young-ho to release his property claim by making him an offer he can’t refuse (beating him up till he signs a quitclaim deed).
How could this plan possibly work? The police are already investigating two murders tied to this property. (Soon there would be three.) Would Tae-song really want to be drawn into a murder investigation?
This gets more outrageous when we learn Tae-song is a mobster with murderous thugs and a crooked lawyer on his payroll. Two things; this revelation means he would be even more motivated to avoid police scrutiny. And second, you don’t have to be a criminologist to know there are simpler ways for a mobster to raise money.
In the end, Tae-song decides to kill both Seo-ha and Young-ho. But with Seo-ha dead he won’t be able to consummate the hotel sale. Sure, the climactic kiln scene was cool, but completely illogical.
Finally, there’s his motivation. Tae-song needs the cash because his daughter is getting married to a doctor and he wants to impress his wealthy in-laws by buying the lad a clinic. Beyond absurd.
3. The killer, Yoon Myung-hee:
This is where the story goes off the rails. Myung-hee is Myung-gil‘s sister. She had an incestuous relationship with their older brother, who is also Seo-ha’s father. Crazy Kim Young-ho is their unregistered/undocumented child.
There are all sorts of problems with this character. In the first episode, the police investigation revealed she was dead. There’s no explanation why they were mistaken?
Second, Myung-hee is a frail septuagenarian weighing no more that 115 pounds soaking wet. This brings into question her feats of strength. How was she able to dump Seo-ha’s husband’s body in the creek? (The coroner stated he was dragged by his collar to that spot.) How did she stuff the hulking detective back in his car? And how did she maneuver an unconscious Seo-ha into her truck, then her cave?
It gets worse. As acknowledged in the show, the person entitled to inherit the property is none other than Myung-hee. That’s right. When Myung-gil dies, as the sole surviving sibling, she gets it all.
Why doesn’t Myung-hee file a claim? Here’s how the show explains it. She suffered humiliation as a child due to disfigurement - a cleft palate. If she revealed her true identity, Young-ho’s illegitimacy would be revealed, subjecting him to ridicule. Apparently killing a few innocent people is preferable to name-calling.
Not only is this a ridiculous calculation, it’s not true. First, revealing her identity would have no impact on Young-ho whatsoever. She could still keep his identity a secret. She gets the property, sells it, and gives him the money. Who would know?
Finally, Even if Myung-hee was successful in her plan to kill Seo-ha and her husband, Young-ho still doesn’t inherit the property. He’s an unacknowledged illegitimate child. He wouldn’t have any claim to a blood relative’s estate beyond that of his biological parents. (Korean Civil Code, 2021.) He has no intestate right any other relative’s property. As such, that land would revert to the state/local village. Myung-hee should have consulted a Korean trust and estates lawyer before going on her meaningless killing spree.
A couple of final problematic issues:
1. The family plot. After being terrorized by estranged family members/lunatics over a parcel of property bequeathed to her by someone she never met, Seo-ha decides to keep it. That makes perfect sense. Because after all, this land holds so much meaning to her – it’s a treasured family legacy; her roots. Apparently, nothing’s more valuable to Seo-ha than those cherished memories of her family and the good times they shared. Yuck.
The underlying message of this show is the exact opposite. When a family is dysfunctional and the relationships are toxic; the best thing to do is to cut all ties. Keeping with the story arc, it should have concluded with Seo-ha dumping the property the second she secured title. (Incidentally, the detective subplot provided the family redemption theme.)
2. The poison. Thallium comes in a medicine bottle. It’s not packaged and shipped in bags that look like sacks of fertilizer, as depicted in the show. And ingesting a gram or two is fatal. The quantity found at the construction site would have killed the entire population of Korea (and cost a fortune).
3. The title. “The Bequeathed” is grammatically incorrect. Bequeath is a verb; e.g. Grandma bequeathed her wedding ring to Mollie.
At a minimum, the show should be renamed “The Bequest.” But that doesn’t really fit either since a bequest is an affirmative act; giving an item to another through a will. Here, Myung-gil didn’t have a will.
The correct title should be, “The Inheritance.”

She's talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping,
When news of this show first reached my ears, I must admit, I was somewhat hesitant. After all, I'd encountered my fair share of typical high school Korean BL dramas in the past. However, the mention of Woong Gi's involvement sparked a flicker of interest within me. And let me tell you, deciding to give it a shot turned out to be a choice I do not regret! The show's storyline is a complex and detailed work of art that captivates viewers with its intricate plotlines and unexpected twists. Each moment keeps you on the edge of your seat, making it hard to look away. The characters are equally impressive, with depth and authenticity that bring them to life before your eyes. This show is a shining example of the power of storytelling and the magic it can bring to our lives.
But what truly steals the spotlight is Lee Tae Vin’s portrayal of Tae Myung Ha. His performance is nothing short of mesmerizing; he imbues the character with complexity and subtlety. The other characters were also impressive, including Yeon Woo, who served as the endearing "cute puppy sunflower" of the show. The exploration of the theme of regret with the rarity of second chances, resonates deeply. As the dynamic between Yeon-woo and Myung-ha blossoms, the desire for a more conclusive resolution intensifies.
As a devoted fan of the show, I must confess that its ending left me with a whirlwind of emotions. While I appreciate the closure it provided and the loose ends it tied up, I couldn't help but feel a yearning for more. The plot and its characters are too rich and multi-dimensional to be contained in just one season. That's why the possibility of a second season is more than just a hopeful prospect it's a necessity.
In conclusion, this show has far surpassed my initial expectations. It stands as a testament to exceptional storytelling, with a plot that keeps you hooked from start to finish, characters you can't help but root for, and performances that leave you in awe. Without a shred of doubt, I wholeheartedly award it a perfect 10/10 rating. It's a must-watch for anyone seeking a riveting storyline brought to life by a stellar cast.

Fresh idea, Excellent execution
I just want to say congratulations to everyone involved with this show because it was perfect. I have loved Korean bls because of the production value and this show took it to another level. The plot, the world building, the acting, everything was amazing and it is definitely starting the year on a very high point. I was already interested in watching this because of Woongki but I never imagined the show was going to be this incredible. The shows this year are going to have to be amazing for this to not be in my top 5 at the end of the year. Lee Tae Vin was absolutely amazing in this considering how difficult it must be to portray his character and I'll definitely look out for more of his projects in the future. Was this review helpful to you?

My Favorite--Will Rewatch from Now to Forever
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!Words can not express how excited I was when this series was announced and waited for the premiere like a crazy person. This is also the first series I have watched as it aired, so that just added to the awesomeness(and the tinder hooks I waited on the six freaking days between each episode.
Pavel is a fabulous shining star, and I've been a huge fan of Nut since "Oxygen", so seeing the two of them in one series(playing Best Friends to boot) go the HELLZ YES from me, no questions asked(what made me even more happy is that both of these guys read the novel after they got the casting notice and that shows in SPADES--I wish more actors would do that).
As a writer and artist myself, I know that there are characters and plot lines that are really difficult to write. In this particular series, this difficulty lies with three characters, in my opinion. The night a Certain Episode aired, I knew fans would go ballistic, and I was actually really curious to see how that was handled(more details below). Also, there were two characters who--in less capable hands--would have been completely blah, but they totally weren't and that made me so happy(again, details below).
First, Way and that Certain Episode.
I'm one of those crazy people who LOVES a good Gray Character/Anti-Hero and Way is CHEF'S KISS. His relationship with Babe makes his betrayal and the culmination of his character arc all the more heartbreaking. As someone who is basically threatened into r*ping his best friend, Way could have been portrayed as a one dimensional and even gross person.
However.
Nut Suppanut's portrayal of Way was both authentic and sympathetic. His tiny little hurt reactions when Babe got together with Charlie hurt my heart and when he broke down in his car after Babe's announcement that he and Charlie were A Thing, I just wanted to hug him.
I might also be a very twisted little human being but even in the Certain Episode where Way attempts to r*pe Babe, I was upset, but not for the reason you would think. Fans went ballistic as got upset, but I was upset because this poor guy actually believed that this was his only way out, and both the look of betrayal on Pavel's face, and the reluctance on Nut's face(yes, I said reluctance, because to me the Way's body language made it clear that he knew Babe would be pissed at him, but he thought that this really was the only way to get Tony to leave them alone--and not just because that was in the dialogue).
I was also really glad that the scene between Tony and Way was included after the attempted r*pe, because it helped reiterate the fact that Way is actually scared shitless of this jackass(Tony), and really will do anything to get away from him. His conversation with Babe where he asks for forgiveness before the final confrontation with Tony was absolutely fabulous and so well handled by the writers, Pavel and Nut.
Also, Way's death DESTROYED ME.
Like, I cried for an hour when that scene aired, and do you know how difficult it is to watch something when there are so many tears in your eyes you can't see straight? It's really, really DAMN HARD. Pavel and Nut deserve awards for their emotional goodbye scene. And hugs. Lots of hugs.
Second, Kenta and Pete.
If I could have secondary favorites that I wish I could see more of in a novel, it would be these two. Kenta is always in the background whenever Tony is on the scene, and Pete shows up toward the end to become a fantastic plot catalyst.
But that's in the novel.
In the series, Kenta is still in the background as Tony's pretty silent right hand, but Garfield took what could be portrayed as a stoic and easy to forget henchman/crony and made a living breathing character that had me glued to the screen whether he was speaking or not. Kenta is a character that needs to be handled the right way or he becomes flat and forgettable. This Kenta was not forgettable. At all. He was Tony's trusted right hand, but at a cost, and you could see that cost through his subtle reactions to both Tony's casual and more intense violence was perfectly done. Also, Kenta is the one who takes Tony out, and that make me stupid happy. Yes, I get that everyone concerned had great motivations to take out Tony, having Kenta do it was the perfect culmination to his character arc.
Pete was one of my favorite secondary characters when I read the novel. His banter with all the boys and his cool headedness during the final takedown of Tony was so brilliantly written I was unsure how the series could improve on it. Except to make him visible throughout the series, rather than at the end.
Which is just what they did! Pete is made the sponsor of Xhunter, rather than a businessman who Way meets by chance who just happens to have vital info they need later one, and I applaud this choice that the writer' s made. By not only having Pete there from the beginning(Ping makes his first appearance in Episode 2) and connecting with Way(even if they never were able to let their relationship blossom, and yes even though I get why, I'm still a little irritated by that), Pete's proposal to ally himself with Babe to take down Tony was seamless. Also, it was nice to see Pete being Way's conscience, even when Way was not in the mood to have one.
Ping knew exactly what he was supposed to do with his portrayal of this character, and he took it a ran with it, and he DELIVERED. He is an actor who has the uncanny ability to say so much with just a flick of his eyes or a twitch of a facial muscle and I wish I could do that. The next time he is in a project I will be glued to the screen, because wow!
One final note about the cast overall: there were a number of actors making their screen debuts(Lee, Pooh, Topten, Michael, and Benz are the ones that come immediately to mind, can't remember if there are any more), and each of them were working their asses off to deliver. Yes, some of them were given initially rather flat characters, but they took them and made each of those characters their own and it's obvious that they are having a blast. Pooh, who plays Charlie, is only twenty years old. If I was twenty years old and got told that I was playing a lead in a series that had everyone super excited about, I would have run the other way. But Pooh stepped up and gave it his all, even when the script didn't give him much to do, this young actor figured out how to make it work, and his chemistry was Pavel was SO HOT. Topten and Michael were clearly having a blast playing the social media influencers and (apparently) youngest members of the team and made me grin like a stupid idiot whenever they were on screen. Lee as Dean and Benz as Kim were also really fun to watch, and it was nice to put an actual name to the face of the person who messed with Charlie's car/delivered info to Babe about his car(we are never told in the book who actually caused those accidents and it made me curious if they ever really found out)
Ignore the haters. The cast is perfect, the writing is perfect, the adaption is perfect! Granted, I was maybe just a little teeny tiny bit disappointed that some of my favorite scenes from the novel didn't quite make it into the series, but I got over that. I'm currently on my rewatch binge because that's how DAMN GOOD this series is. The end.

A sweet story with excellent leads
First, I decided to watch this because I love Zhang Miao Yi's acting. Her acting is charming, full of charisma, and so natural, with many varied expressions. And she didn't disappoint in this series, either. She delivered both cuteness and seriousness so well that I felt her character's dilemma and internal conflicts. The lead actor, Xie Bin Bin, also did an excellent job. They have a beautiful chemistry together.I was most drawn to the main characters' connection and their journey to become top chefs. It was interesting to understand more about the chef world. The plot line was ambitious with different themes; however, it sometimes felt abrupt and unrealistic. The series could have been so much better if the story had been better written in some parts.
However, the story of the leads and their chemistry and acting have kept me looking forward to the next episode day after day. I don't mind the slow burn at all because I can feel their connection and admiration for each other throughout the series, whether they are officially together or not. I also like that all the characters in this series are not perfect and do make mistakes. That is just part of growing as humans. Finally, the overall rating for this series should be at least 8.2 or 8.3. I tend to drop a lot of series in the middle, but I was eager to follow this until the end.

It's content like this that changes the world!
In every aspect, this series is attention grabbing from episode one! I literally watched it all in one evening. The emotion of gender, cultural, and sexual mores vary from moment to moment. Many of the characters are so sweet, you can't help but root for them. This is not just a feel-good-story, but one that shows all aspects of life. It's content like this that changes the world! Was this review helpful to you?
Liu Yuning killed it
Must watch. It's tied with the Long Ballad now for me.Wonderful bromance is what I liked most in this drama. Also the performance of Liu Yuning and Alen Fang. But actually all the main actors gave their all. The characters are just extremely loveable. You get very attached to them and it's a tragedy when you have to lose them.
Also sensible love story. No irritating misunderstanding every 5 minutes, no one-sided love for 3/4 of the drama. It's the story of two lovers who share adventures, troubles, fun and just life together. My favourite kind of love story.
Yes, I would prefer all the brothers to survive in the end. That's what took half a star off for me. But at least I'm 100% certain the main leads are alive and well in the end. I know most people think the opposite, but my opinion isn't just blind belief in the happy ending. I'm truly positive about what I saw and I saw that they are alive and have children.
This is actually not the first time. I remember watching Blue Whisper and they show the main leads in the last seconds of the drama. Yes, it's short, but it's the way the director chose to tell us everything is OK. The same here. The boy plainly says he has parents, he says the name of his mom and the names of his sister and himself - the names only the main leads could give to their children. I don't see two variants here. They survived.
Anyway, an awesome drama. Loving Liu Yuning more and more.

a masterpiece!
I absolutely loved this series! It was so good, interesting and emotional.Everything started with Day, a badminton superstar, who lost his sight during a match. On the other hand, Mhok - the other lead character, started a fight and ended in prison. In prison he heard that his sister killed herself and his whole world fell apart. Later on, Mhok was already free, but couldn`t find a job because of his dark past as a prisoner. No one gave him a chance and he found himself begging for a job as a caretaker. And the boy who needed a care was Day, whose sight became worse. Mhok didn`t want this job, Day`s mother was also against this idea, but Day wanted Mhok to help him.
Finally Mhok accepted the job. He also had a credit and maybe he would never see his sister`s car again, if he didnt find the money.
He tried his best, but Day was hard to please. Mhok was the only one who treated Day as a normal person. He conviced him to leave the house, to meet his old friends, еtc.
Even his mom didn`t understand him. She tried to protect him no matter what, but Mhok continued to "show" Day how beautiful life is, even though Day couldn`t see it at the moment. During these hard times, Day`s family waited for eye donation. Slowly Day and Mhok fell in love. Day`s love was so pure, he couldn`t have a chance to see Mhok`s face, but fell in love with his personality, voice and care.
Sea is such a good actor. The chemistry between Day and Mhok was on high level. Night, who was Day`s brother, was my favorite character too, even though he was a reason for Day`s blindness.
The moment when Day broke up with Mhok was awful and hard to watch. I knew that in the end they will meet again, their love was strong enough to beat every obstacle. Day`s last operation was successful and he finally got a chance to see his lover`s face.
I totally recommend this series. It is so good and interesting.

I LOVE THE OST
love EXO , remind me of the time I downloaded all episodes just to watch it without wifi at school . I was a huge fan of Exo when I was in secondary school ( now senior in university) . Good movie tho, nice acting and especially excellent OST by Baekhyun !♥️♥️❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥♥️♥️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶🫶🫶🫶♥️♥️♥️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶🫶❤️🔥♥️♥️♥️🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥♥️♥️♥️♥️🫶❤️🔥👍👍🤔🌠❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶🫶♥️🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶♥️♥️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶♥️♥️❤️🔥❤️🔥🫶♥️♥️🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥♥️♥️
