Park Sung Woo will be added to the cast of the MBC K-drama Knight Flower

On January 23, Park Sung Woo's agency revealed that the actor will be joining the historical mystery K-drama  Knight Flower led by Lee Ha Nee, Lee Jong Won, Lee Ki Woo, Kim Sang Joong, Park Se Hyun, and Woo Kang Min.

Knight Flower tells the story of a widow named Cho Yeo Hwa. She has been a widow for 15 years and lives quietly at home during the day. At night, she's different. She becomes a person who's like a knight to the people who need help. In her journey, she gets involved with Park Soo Ho and begins to dream about the future once again. 

It is the latest work of directors Jang Tae Yoo (Hyena and My Love from the Star) and Choi Jung In (On the Verge of Insanity). The script is written by Lee Sam and Jung Myung. It is produced by Base Story, Film Drawing, and Saram Entertainment. 

Park Sung Woo will play the role of Cho Sung Hoo. He is the brother of Lee Ha Nee's character Cho Yeo Hwa. Cho Sung Hoo is the world's first sword-wielding warrior and he taught Cho Yeo Hwa of his sword-wielding skills.

Knight Flower airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM. It exclusively airs on MBC.

This will be Park Sung Woo's first historical K-drama since its debut. This is also his comeback to acting after almost two years. 

Park Sung Woo last starred in the 2022 web K-drama You & It with Park Eun Woo

The actor made his official debut in 2013 through the film Fever. He has starred in several K-dramas such as Secret Crushes: Special Edition, Oh! Dear Half-Basement Goddesses, Because It's My First Time, I Have Three Boyfriends, and more. 

Aside from being an actor, Park Sung Woo also became known after he participated in the survival program Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017.
