"Omniscient Reader", Starring Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana, Ji Soo, Drops Pics From Script Reading

The movie K-movie Omniscient Reader has finalized its cast, which includes Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, Park Ho San, Choi Young Joon, and Kim Ji Soo.

Based on the web novel of the same name, Omniscient Reader tells the story of Kim Dok Ja, a man trying to save the world that has suddenly changed to match the contents of the novel he was reading. 

The web novel garnered over 200 million views since its serialization by Naver in 2018. 

Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), the only reader who read the novel till the end, joins forces with the protagonist of the novel, Yoo Jung Hyuk (Lee Min Ho), and new people he meets in the new world, to embark on an epic journey to change the ending.

The K-movie is directed by Kim Byung Woo and it is the first movie by Smilegate Realies, jointly established by the global IP holder Smile Gate and Realies Pictures, the production company behind the blockbuster Along With the Gods film series.

Lee Min Ho (The Heirs, The Legend of the Blue Sea, The King: Eternal Monarch),  plays Yoo Jung Hyuk, the protagonist with the ability to return to life even after death. Yoo Jung Hyuk, endowed with unmatched combat skills, is the character who survived until the end in the world of the novel.

Ahn Hyo Seop (Dr. Romantic Season 3, A Business Proposal)  makes his big-screen debut as Kim Dok Ja, an ordinary office worker and the reader who knows how the novel ends.

Chae Soo Bin (I'm Not a Robot, The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure) portrays Yoo Sang Ah, Kim Dok Ja's former colleague and companion who joins him in his journey. Yoo Sang Ah quickly adapts to the world where she must fight a battle for survival. Not only that, she also becomes a source of strength for Kim Dok Ja.

Park Ho San (Prison Playbook, Unlocked) takes on the role of Gong Pil Du, who uses his wealth to control people's livelihoods, and Choi Young Joon (Gyeongseong Creature, Bloodhounds) portrays Han Myung Oh, Kim Dok Ja's boss, who gets entangled in the scenario.

Shin Seong Ho's (Alchemy of Souls, Weak Hero Class 1, D.P.) character Lee Hyun Sung is a former soldier, while Nana (My Man Is Cupid, Kill It, Mask Girl) plays Jung Hee Won, a character who acts like a goddess of justice with outstanding offensive abilities.

Additionally, BLACKPINK's Ji Soo (Snowdrop) joins the cast as Lee Ji Hye, a companion to Yoo Jung Hyuk.
